As Kingsland and the surrounding area continue to thrive, the local school system is growing to keep pace. Four new elementary schools have been built in the last 10 years, and more construction is planned in the near future.
Camden County High
Kingsland also boasts a new high school, Camden County High and now a new 9th grade center. The school is AAAAA and includes an impressive Sports Complex, as well as a state-of-the-art Cultural Arts Center.
Nearly every classroom in the county is equipped with computers to give the area's almost 10,000 students hands-on experience with the latest technology. GSAMS (distance learning) is also utilized.
From pre-kindergarten through high school, students are given a top-quality education through classes that meet their individual needs.
Coastal Georgia Community College
The opportunities for education do not end when students graduate from high school. Coastal Georgia Community College's Camden Center, located in Kingsland, offers associate degrees in arts and sciences.
In an effort to expand with the continual growth of the area, construction is underway on a new state of the art campus. The new campus is located behind the high school and is a 90,000 square foot facility. Planned opening for the new facility is fall of 2003.
